Troy was super helpful with getting my IRD number set up. I was a bit stressed with getting things sorted because it was getting near closing time but he went above and beyond to accommodate my needs such as emailing me the confirmation letter so I didn't have to wait for it to show up in the mail.
Most dysfunctional system I have ever had the experience of trying to work through. Terrible web design, extreme lack of education, wrong information always given, records lost. I have been dealing with the same small problem for almost 2 years. Only reason this system works is the disgusting threatening and invasive nature of it. Make people scared enough to suffer through it. I have to lie to the stupid robot that answers the phone just to get through for ‘help’ and that only works maybe 10% of the time. I feel sorry for the people that work here.
Paid a significant amount of GST online 1 day early. Inland Revenue lost the payment, charged me $2,500 in late payment fees. I then had to pay my accountant to find the missing money for Inland Revenue which also cost me.nnThe stress this caused me wondering where the large amount of money had gone when you had it all along.nnNot even an apology.nnVery very unprofessional, I can only hope Inland Revenue see a restructure in these tough time and some of you lose your jobs.nnSort your selves out Inland Revenue
Up and running. One person at a time, but still working well. The woman who helped us understood our situation and helped us immeasurably. Walk-ins are being accepted. Don’t shy away, it’s a working government agency!
Hey guys. Don't you think you guys need a well-organized queueing system? I waited for almost half an hour to get a form for tax refund and another half an hour to get informed of what to do next. The old man was kind but he said that he would call me in a few minutes when he gave me a form. And then what? He seemed to totally forget me being waiting for his call. While he was receiving another new comer, I was waiting... I am pretty sure it is not only me that don't know what to do when they enter the building.
