Went here for lunch today on the recommendation of “1 fish 1 scoop”. Got two fish and one scoop of chips and then went to the beach to eat it. Well! It was a massive portion of chips, hot crispy delicious chips! Very well salted and fluffy on the inside. Some of the best I’ve had. Then the fish. Big fillet, heavy and battered to perfection. Absolutely delicious! DELICIOUS!! The place was literally nothing to look at from the outside at all but that doesn’t mean anything!!! Will most definitely go back.

Fish was tasty, large portion, somewhat oily and dense. Shoestring chips were somewhat soggy and not very crisp. And the portion is HUGE, 500g is a lot of chips and there is no option for smaller.

My go to fish and chip shop in New Brighton, great portion sizes one scoop of chips is massive!, chips that aren't crinkle cut and fish that's always well cooked!nnNot really sampled the chinese meal part of the menu but if it's similar to the Fish and Chips you can't go too wrong!

Easy ordering, helpful and pleasant young lady taking orders. 15 mins max from start to finish around 5pm on a Monday. Chips were really good crisp outside, fluffy inside, fish a good size, although Gurnard we ordered wasn't Gurnard probably Hoki, Sole and Elephant fish were good. Outside of batter was crispy.nWe ordered way too much food for 2 of us, 1 scoop chips shared and 1 piece of fish each would probably be plenty next time. Would to back if in the area.

I had a combination chow mei cooked by the man. And was delicious and fresh. All the good veggies ur body needs. Def be back for more options
