Never get your key cut here. They didn’t return my original key and gave me two wrong keys instead. My partner and I wasted hours stuck outside. Terrible attention to detail.

This is brilliant hardware store. Staff are simply amazing with great knowledge and a friendly smile. There is a vast variety of merchandise on offer. The store layout makes finding what you need so easy. You just need to look at the clearly marked signs above each row. The store is always clean and I always enjoy how the staff interact with customers. This is a great place as an example of why we need to support our local. Great staff, always so helpful and knowledgeable. If they can't help, which is rare, they can recommend someone who can. The kind of customer care that's getting harder to come by these days.

Sadly the experienced older staff have gone and with them the great customer service.

The last time I was in this retailer I thought; 'why bother'? That was about 2 years ago. I am disclosing from the outset I work in a related/unrelated brand in Glenfield OMG! What a change in this store. Stock for starters! There is product on the shelves, the assortment is abundant and CLEAN! Pleasant and courteous, no, actually, FRIENDLY associate on the check out and just a great feel in the store. DEVONPORT! No longer do you have to fight Lake Rd to get 'something' because there is a good chance this store now has that something you may need to complete a project. I like shopping local and will forgo my discount at Glenfield to support this local retailer.
