I would like to share feedback regarding my recent visit to your Grey Lynn branch, 23 August 2025.nnWhen I asked staff for assistance in locating a product, I felt I was not treated with the same courtesy as other customers. For example, one staff member a middle-aged woman was friendly when helping another customer but was dismissive when I asked for help. Another staff member a younger woman was also unhelpful, but her attitude changed when a male colleague approached her.nAs an Asian customer, this difference in treatment made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I am not certain if this was due to unconscious bias, but it gave me the impression that I was not valued as a customer.nnI believe all customers deserve equal respect and assistance, regardless of their background. I hope you will look into this matter and remind your staff of the importance of consistent, inclusive, and respectful customer service.nThank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing how you will address this.

The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I’ve been here multiple times for tools, gardening supplies, and home maintenance items — always a smooth experience. Parking is usually available, and the layout is straightforward. Highly recommend for both big projects and quick fixes!

I went to the opening of the store at 7am, and it opened just on time. The pick up of an online order was quick and easy. I asked about the bathrooms and the clerk at the reception was very helpful.nnAnd then I went to the bathroom. This is not what I expected to see at the very opening of a store. Not sure I would like to see such a mess and filth at the end of a work day either. Not sure about your cleaning procedures, Bunnings, but I had too many questions about them.

had an extremely disappointing experience at Bunnings recently. While using the self check-out with only two items, a staff member treated me with clear disrespect and prejudice. Without any valid reason, they loudly called security to check my receipt, implying I had stolen something. This was not only humiliating but also felt racially motivated. Such treatment is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the store’s training and culture. I hope Bunnings takes this seriously and addresses how their staff treat customers,everyone deserves to shop with dignity and without discrimination.
