Glacier Kayaking. They are wonderful trips. The journeys take in some incredible scenery and are really quite awe-inspiring. All our boats are double sea kayaks and are fitted with outriggers on both sides for perfect stability. We call these “Floaties”.

This trip is an adventure for the kayaker and provides an opportunity to meet ice bergs face to face. New Zealand’s longest glacier winds its way down the Southern Alps for nearly 30km before culminating at the terminal lake. The transition from glacier to lake produces impressive icebergs on a regular basis; this truly is ‘big berg country’.
We have limited seats. Early bookings are essential on this spectacular adventure.
You will need to bring the following:
1 Sun hat
2 Sun glasses
3 Warm clothing (just in case there is a cool breeze)
4 Suncream
5 Sturdy shoes. (runners etc)
6 Camera
7 Wind shell
