Story

Foxi liustik on oruliustik Westland Tai Poutini rahvuspargis Uus-Meremaa Lõunasaare läänerannikul. Liustik on 13 km pikk. Koos naabruses asuva, samuti Lõuna-Alpide mäestikust algava Franz Josefi liustikuga on omapärane see, et need liustikud lõppevad troopilises vihmametsas ja on ühed kõige kergemini ligipääsetavad liustikud maailmas. Foxi liustiku serv asub samanimelisest asulast jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Liustikust saab alguse samanimeline jõgi – Fox River.
Liustik sai oma nime 1872. aastal tolleaegse Uus-Meremaa peaministri sir William Fox'i järgi.

Fun, you can see on the ground and in the air.
Small town but loved the helicopter flight awesome,
Very amazing landscape !
Very easy and short hike to the glacier from the car park. The Glacier is shrinking on a fast pace. Worth visiting but you can not compare it to the impressive glacier in Iceland, greenland and patagonia.
Totally amazing! We flew up in a helicpter and got off and went for a walk on The glacier, which was incredibly awaresome. The sun did shine on a blue sky.. Wow! Just do it!
Expensive but oh well worth it, stunning going up, landing brilliant, try for a blue sky even better.
We walked to the base of the glacier and the following day took Glacier Helicopters up to the head. Awesome exoerience.
