Story

The Fox Glacier is a 13 km long glacier located in Westland Tai Poutini National Park on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. It was named in 1872 after a visit by the then Prime Minister of New Zealand, Sir William Fox.

Fun, you can see on the ground and in the air.
Small town but loved the helicopter flight awesome,
Very amazing landscape !
Very easy and short hike to the glacier from the car park. The Glacier is shrinking on a fast pace. Worth visiting but you can not compare it to the impressive glacier in Iceland, greenland and patagonia.
Totally amazing! We flew up in a helicpter and got off and went for a walk on The glacier, which was incredibly awaresome. The sun did shine on a blue sky.. Wow! Just do it!
Expensive but oh well worth it, stunning going up, landing brilliant, try for a blue sky even better.
We walked to the base of the glacier and the following day took Glacier Helicopters up to the head. Awesome exoerience.
