Customer ServicenI had a fantastic experience with the staff here. They were incredibly helpful in finding the right size hiking shoes for me, taking the time to measure and suggest the best fit. Their knowledge about outdoor gear really stood out — they walked me through the pros and cons of several hiking backpacks and helped me pick the perfect one for my needs. On top of that, everyone had such a positive and welcoming attitude, even though I asked a lot of questions. It truly made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer.nnProduct Selection and QualitynThe store offers an impressive variety of outdoor gear, from high-quality clothing and footwear to a wide range of camping equipment and accessories. They carry excellent, reputable brands known for durability and performance, which gave me confidence in my purchase. Everything I looked at was in great condition, and the products I bought have been performing perfectly so far. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better shopping experience.
Great selection and friendly staff. However it's a busy shop so no one came up to me to offer help. I had to go wait in the queue at the counter to ask for help. I think they need more staff to run things more smoothly.nnUpdate: My latest trip to the shop was a positive one. This time I was greeted by at least 3-4 staff and was offered help each time. :
Fantastic shop with incredibly helpful/knowledgeable staff. Even if you have any problems with any stuff that you got from them which I did they're really great at providing tips, tricks, suggestions or finding workable solutions. 10/10 would buy from there again.
Super helpful team members both when buying and when I had to get a repair done under warranty even when I was the annoying customer picking my repair up right on closing time - sorry!nnAlso one of the few Christchurch stockists of Ruffwear dog gear, which is hard to beat in the outdoors.
Wide selection of all the stuff you could want, but where this store really shines is in the service. Before, and after the sale, the team here is just a pleasure to work with special shoutouts to George and Hamish, who were legends helping me out with the kayak I bought from them. I would recommend this store to anybody looking for paddlesports, or other outdoor gear, without a second thought.
