I don't know what the last reviewer is on about. He must have been having a bad day. Because, every time I have been into the Bivouac Outdoor Christchurch store. The staff have been super helpful and friendly. The staff know their products and super helpful when it came to helping me buy my Aeroe Spider Rack Cradle. Do not let the last review from Vojtech Plesak affect your experience of the store and their staff.
The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. The item I wanted wasn't available online, but they helped me find an even better option, which ended up being more affordable too. Epic service. 11/10

Helped today by Tim in the boot department! So knowledgeable and helpful with finding a boot that fits well and will stand the test of time factoring in my style of tramping and backcountry activities. Legend!
By far the best hiking equipment store in CC. Needed to buy lots of stuff to begin my travel in NZ so looked around all the stores in the City Center and in Tower Junction before the purchase. They had the best gear by far, with reasonable prices, and highly professional and friendly staff.
