Hot dogs were a frankfurter, barely battered, not on a stick and overcooked with no sauce.nnChips left a lot to be desired as were undercooked.nnFish was lovely which is why we do return to this shop, for the cod alone, each time we are in Levin! We know not to ask for a hot dog again which wasn't even a battered sausage.

I am deaf so cannot ring. Would be useful to have an email address. Chips were good but the fish was greasy tasteless slush. Fish should be crisp & not like jelly. Spent $50 on a whanau meal - well below par.

This gem of a Levin fish'nchip shop is tucked away on Bledisloe Street off Bartholomew Road. Their battered cod is primo. Chip portions are a bit random, but $3.00 for two people is a reasonable indicator. What is really impressive for me is how hot the meal is and how non-oily it is compared to other fish and chip shops offerings. Sure, there is oil in the paper that wraps the fish'nchips, but that takes it away from what you're eating. Atmosphere doesn't mean a lot when you're getting a good feed.
