We stopped in at Cob & Co Levin and had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the greeting was warm and welcoming. The establishment itself was clean and inviting, and the customer service was awesome — first impressions were definitely a win.nWe ordered the beer battered prawns with lemon, and I must say they were fantastic. Full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I also had the lamb with mint and veggies, which was absolutely delicious and well presented.nJust a small tip — if you’re not into your meat on the rarer side, you might want to ask for it cooked a little more, as it does come slightly pink.nOverall, highly recommend stopping in for a feed. Great service, great food, and a great atmosphere.
A friend took me to Cobb & Co. for lunch today. They ordered a Cobb Shrimp Cocktail, coffee and NZ Pork Roast and I got the Homemade Smoked Kahawai Pie with a Flamingo Mocktail cranberry, pineapple juice and lemonade. We both had Pavlova for dessert takeaway, cos by then we were full!nI stole a couple of shrimp to taste. The bowl was a good size and the taste was exactly as it should be. I was informed the pork roast was flavorsome and well cooked. There was none left lolnMy Kahawai pie was rich, creamy and delicious, baked in an individual enamel dish and served with a rocket salad, washed down by the summer tasting cocktail.nA good eating experience today.nThanks Cobb & Co nnEdit: DessertnTwo mini, and perfectly made, Pavlova with whipped cream, passionfruut sorbet and berry compote what was we found in each of our containers.nAt first glance we thought the cream was ice cream, but soon realised our mistake.nI thought I would have one Pavlova, with half of everything else, for a dessert tea. I added some fresh cream by preference.nI ended up eating both Pavlova, but have saved some of the delicious sorbet for porridge and compote for toast. I love foods that can be used in multiple ways like this, thank you
Food was amazing . Took a while to place an order after we were served with water about a ten to fifteen minute wait. Ordered the Cobb and Co loaf as a starter and as you can see from the pic's a wonderfully cooked sirloin steak. Overall a great dinner. My partner thought maybe a better playlist could of set the atmosphere however we understand it is a family friendly restaurant which is also awesome for those with children/grandkids.
We come here a couple of times a year when visiting family in Levin.nnThe food and service here over the past year have improved so much that if I hadn't experienced it myself tonight I wouldn't have believed it!nnGreat friendly and professional service tonight and the food was absolutely delicious. There is not one thing that we could complain about.nnThe restaurant was pretty busy but staff ensured we always felt attended to and meals still came out in pretty good timing.
I recently ordered ribs from the Cobb. Portion size was great , delicious meal. Highly recommended
