Last week my teenage daughter and I were shopping at Farmers Queensgate for make up. She had a list of first time products that she wanted to purchase and had a small budget. We were approached by Lisa Team Leader who offered to help us. She was wonderful with my daughter, giving her make up tips on how to apply product and advising her on what would suit her colouring. She was also mindful of our low budget and ensured that my daughter left the store for everything she needed. She was so kind and seemed to enjoy the challenge. I would highly recommend Lisa if you're in the market for beauty products and aren't sure where to start. We'll certainly be making a return visit in the future and will seek out Lisa for help. Excellent customer service.
Department store located in Queensgate mall , the only mall around Wellington.nnIt has a wide collection of cosmetic and beauty products from big brands and I love that they have so many discounts and specials all year long.nnI also like the bedding and linen collections, as well as the kitchenware. Big electronic appliances are also available.nnThey have various clothing collection as well and here, we can see some furniture. They have mid-range to luxurious collections and that can be pricey.nnI think I see some toys as well.nnThe staff are very friendly and helpful, check out is smooth.nnThe store disability friendly too and easy to navigate
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at your Farmers Goldmark Queensgate store on June 14, 2024. Specifically, my experience pertains to a warranty claim for my Tommy Hilfiger watch.nnUpon visiting the store watch and jewelry section presenting my warranty card with with invoice number and watch model which contains all necessary details for the claim, I encountered significant difficulty. The assistant manager insisted that the claim could not proceed without an invoice. Despite my request to verify the receipt in your system, she declined, stating that printing the receipt was not possible. Furthermore, when I inquired about coverage under the Consumer Guarantees Act NZ, she dismissed my concerns, claiming watches were not covered and asserting her authority as an assistant manager.nnThe situation escalated when she made a dismissive remark, suggesting my concern over a $300 watch was trivial compared to a $3,000 one. This comment was not only inappropriate but also profoundly disappointing. The overall experience has left me frustrated and disillusioned with the after-sales service provided by your store.nnAs a loyal customer of Tommy Hilfiger, I hold your establishment in high regard and expect better service and respect. Regardless of the item’s value, all customers should be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Warranty claims should be processed in accordance with the terms agreed upon at the time of purchase.
I received the best service and was so impressed with Len in the appliances department. He went to great lengths to access the microwave I was wanting to purchase, arranged payment over the phone and then organised the delivery. Can’t express my gratitude enough.
I came into this store today with my daughter who was looking to buy perfume.nThere were three women behind the counter and no other customers around the counter at the time.nWe were standing there testing perfume, they looked at us and did not approach us.nAnother customer came to the counter and got served straight away and when she left another lady came to the counter and got help straight away.nThey were dressed like they were going to work for the day, we were in jeans and a hoodie.nClearly we were the wrong type of customer for this store as the lady behind the counter moved towards us but just stood there without acknowledging us.nMy daughter asked her for a pen which she provided but still nothing.nWe left.nWe went to Life Pharmacy in the same mall and were greeted by the most amazing guy behind the perfume counter who clearly did not judge us by what we were wearing and treated us well.nHis knowledge of perfumes was amazing and he took the time to find out what we needed and what suited us.nI was not out to buy perfume myself but he left such an impression on me I spent $140 and my daughter spent $150.nShame on your ladies at farmers, you need to go downstairs and take a lesson from this guy, he's amazing and you made us feel like we were nothing.
