The most accommodating car rental experience we ever had renting a car.nDue to the weather our situation changed more than once and they always were friendly and helpful making a stressful situation so much easier!
Mahara on the desk was incredibly helpful in the busy Christmas period after we were let down by a 3rd party provider. She saved our mini break!
Very misleading- turned up with my booking reference that I had paid for on line before our travels that included an upgrade to a hybrid and was told at the counter that was not the case and was told to pay extra - and all they had me in was a petrol swift- this is not at all what we booked on the website. As much as I questioned this I was not heard and now feel very played plus was also told that they car I did booked they don’t have those cars at this location- again misleading as this was the location I used when booking the vehicle stating this was available - seems like false advertising. Trying now to communicate with them finding a number you can call and asking for my refund on the upgrade is impossible the email correspondence seems like it from an automated response of oh well, be careful next time - I wouldn’t recommend them and be very careful when booking a rental car with Europcar.
Amazing experience!nEmma was extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful! We got in on a late flight which she had to stay back and accomodate us. She saw us out and made sure everything with the electric car was okay before she went home.nWe had a flight cancellation from Rotorua and needed to amend our booking to drop off the car to Auckland and she worked her magic to help us at minimum cost which is not what you expect in car rental!nWe had an electric car which was easily able to be charged at home and you could even return it out of charge. Perfect for a run around Rotorua.nI would 100% recommend Europcar and will rent through them next time. Emma is a customer service gem!
The staff were super amazing and really helpful. They ensured everything was in place and made the whole process really smooth and easy
