Da Hua Super Market

This supermarket is part of a chain. I really love its chilled section for Asian food with an enormous variety of products. It also stocks plenty of snacks, seasonings and cooking oils. Promotional displays pop up regularly. Mooncakes have appeared on shelves recently, bringing festive vibes well ahead of the traditional festival.

hard work-nntuff goin -nnveg a mixed bag- some fresh some stale- prices meh- okay some dear others a messy storennvisibility of item pricing - in english language on packaging is minimalistic- we don't read chinois but can ask a question if we find a staff member who speaks our 'dialect' not always a givennso hit n miss-nnpoor lighting crowded displays- hidden stock- contributes to the chaotic conditions trying to identify value and quality.nnselection of asian ingredients is good. pricing all over the place- quality okay to fair- but this is a challenge trying to shop at DA Hua, barely tolerable only because of my years in Asia working in other languages. i can put up with it but lotsa room for improvement- most of my companions give up and leave store earlier than I do-nnDa Hua gets a 'passing' grade - barely - hardly a rousing hiphip hooray- chaotic messy experience

Honestly, as an individual who has been living/ studying in Thailand for over 8+ years I was able to find many products that was staple in my day to day life routine while I was in Thai. For example these two products.

I bought a box of grapes, and several of them were already moldy when I opened the package. This is very disappointing and shows poor quality control.
