Japan Home Mart

This shop is called Japan mart but hardly any product is made in Japan. They are all made in China but packed in the Japanese way. This is a good thing which shows China’s super power

I visited this shop two days ago, only to return and purchase an item that suited my need. In spite of one or two negative comments on previous reviews I found the staff that I interacted with were very helpful and pleasant. The shop was very clean with lots of space between each row. I didn't buy anything on the first visit. All products were well displayed and prices were clearly marked. A great range of plastic / acrylic products available, which means that I am likely to return and shop in this store in the future. Because I didn't purchase anything on the first occasion my rating of 3 stars was a bit low, hence the reason for a 5 star on my return.

We had purchased some products from this store and wanted to return them. They said we couldn't due to them being on discount or serving, anyway I said that's ok but they didn't even let us exchange the items for something else. The items were only bought for about a week and in their original packaging. I don't understand why they wouldn't accept even an exchange.

I asked for a refund of the products I purchased a few mins ago as the products are over-priced. They refused to give a refund although there is no issue with the products. Very disappointing and will never shop from Japan Mart.

very expensive. I bought two pops candy for $9 pak n save only 1.5 for each never go back

One star. Bought some seaweed chips and they said $3.50 on them. Goes up to the counter to buy them and she says $6.99 NEARLY DOUBLE THE PRICE. I didnt realise until after I bought them and walked out of the shop that I had just been swindled out of me money for some mediocre average seaweed chips too! I will never be going back. A big store but with very limited products.

Useful for the good quality but affordable household stuff

The worst customer service support that I have ever encountered. Slow or no contact, sold an item to me, took my money, then told me that they were sold out. Took a month to sort it out. Ignored my requests, didn't understand why I was upset. Terrible, terrible service.

they wouldn't exchange a faulty product for me. take me almost half hour wait for them sort everything out... they still can't find the transaction. even i have showed them on my online banking statements. anyway. awful experience customer service. wouldn't come back again... PLEASE BE THOUGHTFUL WHEN YOU CHOOSING THEIR PRODUCT. follow up customer service is bad. most likely end up with nothing......
