Great little playground. It has slides, swing, monkey bars, trampolines.
Coxs Bay Reserve is a large and popular reserve with sports fields which are busy with booked sports for rugby and cricket. It covers approximately 14 hectares and has a creek area with native vegetation, mangroves and an environmental trail. Perimeter tracks provide good walking circuits around the sports fields and through areas of bush.
Fairly a big park with a large playground in and around Ponsonby, Grey Lynn area. Long walks to Cox's bay, dogs on and off leash areas, board walks, green fields and picnic tables are plus points. However, the strong stench coming out from the nearby mangrove at some places of this park is not so pleasant, particularly in the summer :
Great park. Scenic views around.
Great place for outdoor activities, picnics and hikes. Nature walk by little lake is lovely - you can see some trees under water. BBQ options available.
