Coronation Restaurant

The staff are friendly and attentive. They clean the tables very quickly, before the birds attack. There is a lot of space inside and outside. The coffee is awesome! The pineapple slice was good. When I ordered my steak they asked how I wanted it, and I said medium. It came out very well done. It was very off putting. I liked the side order of veggies. My friend said her shank was fine.

Well-known eatery among locals, great location and very friendly staff! The sirloin steak option was unfortunately on the underwhelming side as everything on that plate was cold and bland. The grilled pork on rice dish however was delicious with the exception of the stale salad and very flavourful. The standout dish ordered was the carbonara pasta! Hot, creamy, and the perfect comfort food! Would probably stick with the pasta options next time I stop by here, but nonetheless, a nice place to catch up with friends/family over breakfast/lunch

Came in for lunch and regretted afterwards. Service was ok. Lunch menu and price can find elsewhere tad cheaper and better flavour. Seafood basket was a let down, little bite size bits of fish, small prawns, squid rings, a mussel or oyster? And some chips and sauce some were burnt. Grilled chicken on rice was bland and chicken was overcooked dry. Kids nugget meal, expensive 4 nuggets and chips. Butter chicken tasted mediocre. Prices didn't match the quality and flavour. Can get better elsewhere for less the price here.

The Good: the Bridge Special with salad, bacon & chicken, fries & aioli was good. The Bad: Grilled Scotch Fillet with veges. Veges didn’t taste newly cooked, broccoli was so soggy it was inedible & gravy had a clumpy weird texture. The OK. Butter chicken.

Haven't tried everything on the menu but what we've ordered so far has been delicious. Staff are friendly. Tables are constantly being tended to and layout is good. One thing I would say is that their restroom tap water has a funky smell that put me off. I'm not too sure why the tap water in there smells.

Went for dinner Dec 8th, seems like there was only one girl clearing the tables n wiping them down, unfortunately I had to ask 3x to pls wipe down our table until I asked the girl for a table clothe to wipe down our table. Didn't wait long for our meals but was extremely dissatisfied for the cost of a nugget kids meal $16,90 to only receive x4 small nuggets, small scoop of fries which all came in a bowl and a soft drink. PLEASE RE-DO ur kids menu or add more chicken nuggets for the expensive cost u advertise!!!! My 5yo was still hungry after eating his 4 nuggets and he's not really a big eater. 3stars for the whole experience.

This is a lovely eatery busy with ample seating & experienced wait staff employees who are efficient at customer service. It was brim full to capacity due to a comprehensive menu items & reflected in the price due to cost of living & inflated fruit & vegetables prices. Aside from this detail the food ordered was a seafood platter & pancakes whipped cream & fried bananas & coffee & hot chocolate which was delicious & did not fail to impress. I would definitely return ergo 3 stars rating

Friendly service, ordered and was delivered in a timely manner. Seafood basket was minimal to say the least small portions of squid and fish not worth the amount paid for. There was more chips than seafood. Other than that a busy spot but the quality of the food was sub par.

20/04/2023 19:45 $ was there for dessert, decided on an ice cream cup and dirty chai latte, customer service was great, restaurant was full at the time the meals looked really good, atmosphere was happy family affair, seating at the front of shop, clean tables, happy to return for dinner one day.Food: 5/5

Great place if your looking for burgers and fry’s. The owner is very friendly and our food came quickly.
