I loved the commodore motel. The owners and housekeepers were lovely and did a wonderful job maintaining the location and making us feel welcomed. The beds were super comfy and the water pressure/temp was great. Highly recommend staying there. It’s also right next to the botanical garden and supermarket is less than a 10 min walk away.
They were absolutely amazing! We had a large group and they were incredible to all of us. I would 100% stay at the Commodore if I were to come back to Dunedin. Rooms were super clean, spacious, and lots of amenities. Incredibly happy. Super close to downtown, the botanical gardens, and the grocery store. I felt super safe here at the hotel as well.
Best place to stay in Dunedin. Staff was always helpful and cleaned all our dishes for us. Full kitchen with cooking supplies and has laundry too. Located next to a great park to take walks in. Would stay againRooms: 5/5
Stayed here with family earlier this year during the Easter holidays. We had made the booking for our stay through their website. Check-in was very quick as the usual check-in formalities were done online a day before our arrival. Our rooms were comfortable on the ground floor and had everything necessary for a pleasant stay. I was able to park my vehicle right outside my room. The host was friendly and catered to our requests. Would stay here again.
We showed up at the last minute & were greeted warmly. The friendly & efficient lady Vicky? put us in a lovely room at the back away from street noise. The amenities were excellent & the bed was great for my wife's sore back due to driving many hours. Would happily stay here again & recommend to anyone for a comfortable & convenient stay right beside the gorgeous botanical gardens!
The room was so spacious and perfect for my needs with a little kitchen and living space. Such a charming place! Highly recommend for any travelers to Dunedin!Rooms: 5/5
These guys go out of their way to suit your ocassion, and make you feel welcome ten times over!! We've stayed here often, & will continue to do so! You'd be silly to stay anywhere else!!Rooms: 5/5
Great service nice clean rooms great resturant only issue was the noise of the vents in the room Food & drinks: Awesome resturant for breakfast lunch and dinner
Thank you for a wonderful stay. Lovely friendly,helpful staff. Room was immaculately clean good size and has everything you need. Breakfast option,Close to town ,gardens, supermarket and university all within walking distance. Book direct like I did for great rates. Look forward to staying again soon
After a 48hr flight from the UK, this was the perfect place to spend a few days. Great location, lovely rooms and excellent staff. Great parking outside the room. I am also very happy that my mobility disability was recognised and I was given a ground floor apartmentRooms: 5/5
