ASURE 755 Regal Court Motel

Accepted our request for a room at 10pm when every other place was closed. Very clean,comfortable and well appointed unit with excellent bathroom / shower facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Owner managed motel so you can expect good service and will accomodate your requests. Managed to get a interconnecting room which was good for our family. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and rooms were pleasantly clean

Service is ok. But the old owners were more accommodating. Had been going here for 4 years. This time it was different. Unit #9. Pots and pans are clean. Utensils are organised. The shower exhaust fan to suck out steam and toilet odour wasn't working. Water was leaking on the floor under the kitchen sink cabinet. Somewhat like a sewer odor near the bed. Noticed the window was open. Closed the window and the odour diminished. Quite some items for improvement.

My trip was ruined for this motel. We book a room a month ago Everything was confirmed. When we get there to make a check-in no room available due “system error” overbooking the place. dunedin’ accomodation was fully booked because of RHCP concert. So after drove 5hs to get the place, waste 2hs in the office without any solution, We assisted to the concert and drove again 5hs more to back home because we hadn’t any other option and cancel all our plans of the trip. However it has left me feeling extremely disappointed and upset as haven’t the opportunity to talk with a competent person to find a solution because a kid was on charge of the reception. yes I said right a young girl ! of course no mature enough to handle this situation what repited many time while I was there.

Nice place nice comfortable beds and what I remember a great place to stay for a night.

Very poor for disability access absolutely and completely unsuitable. I contacted the owner prior to ask about disabled access I am an amputee and was assured it would be ok. there was still a room mix up despite this I was put upstairs and the reception staff member asked did I have a knee injury I’m an amputee and was wearing a knee length skirt with my prosthetic leg in full view at the time. A customer I didn’t know that was also checking in agreed to swap her downstairs room for my upstairs one because the motel couldn’t offer me any solution. The downstairs room I ended up having had a parking space that actually blocked my wheelchair access to the door when I put my car in it. the door to the room was up a step too big to get a wheelchair in. the kitchenette was so small it was almost impossible to navigate and the wheelchair didn’t even fit through the bathroom door. the shower was up 2 steps, not floor level and the chair provided for me to sit to shower was the wrong size, I couldn’t get my knees clear to shut the door while sat down, not could I adjust the shower head from it’s fixed high position. the double bed was close to two walls so the wheelchair wouldn’t fit up either side of it. there was a heat pump and electric blanket provided. I had to leave both on overnight because the room was quite cold. the only access to reception was up a flight of steps also. I wish they had just admitted it was unsuitable in the first place rather than misleading me into thinking it would be ok. I contacted the owner during my stay to get their comment - offering them the opportunity to rectify the issues. They didn’t.

Comfortable and clean. Hosts turned on hear pump so unit was nice and warm on arrival. Property is very close to town centre, ideally placed. Great stay.

I loved it, it's very comfortable place. I booked a studio room with a spa bath, great owner, very clean, daily service is great, price is good for the location and very comfortable bed.i could of gave 5 stars but I gave 4 because there's wasn't any stove or electric pan only microwave, at the time of booking I had noticed there is no stove in the photos but I thought there will be an electric pan in the cabinet so if you prefer cooking you need to check their other room or the appointment s but definitely will come back.
