Coffee Supreme

I love this place. I make a detour to grab a coffee from STC and it's always good. I've never actually eaten here so can't comment on the food, but the service is great, it's north facing so is bathed in sunshine on a nice day and the place generally has a nice atmosphere. One of the few cafes that would make me want to come into the city! Definitely recommend you check it out.

Heard great things about this place online and thought it would be a nice cafe to get some work done at. Unfortunately the wifi was not great and it was a bit loud to work in but this is just because I underestimated how popular they were! I ordered an iced chocolate and a cinnamon scroll. The iced chocolate was pretty disappointing, seemed to be just a small cup of chocolate milk with ice in it, but the cinnamon scroll was delicious. Both were reasonably priced, for what I got. The cafe itself was gorgeous and the staff were friendly but still on the hunt for the perfect cafe to work in.

It’s a rare find coming across a place that shows you real hospitality. From the warmth of the staff, the aroma of good speciality coffee, to the excellent food, South Town Clubs shows a genuine care for its customers. I would highly recommend them to any and all!

Super cute, feelsy cafe with a niche experience right at the center of the city tucked away from all the madness! Had a beautiful afternoon with my Mother here, something I cannot replace with money 10/10 flat white too and Holly was a gem.Food: 5/5

Brilliant brekkie burger and delicious dumplings. Standout was the potatoes hash, perfectly crispy and delicately seasoned.

Hands down the most beautiful food I’ve eaten since being in New Zealand. Chips were perfect, real hand cut potato with togarashi salt and sesame Mayo! Went down well with their housemate Gochujang hot sauce. The ‘doubles’ housemate turmeric flatbreads with curried chickpeas, mango chutney, roasted coconut, corriander and pickled cucumbers were just delightful. A flavour experience I didn’t know I needed. Service and coffee were great, 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for lunch in Christchurch.

Excellent establishment! Doesn’t have quite a cult following like a few other cafes so it’s quite easy to get a table. Love the coffee & crumpets. Sparkling Water on tap is a huge W. Main guy i think he’s the owner that I am usually served by truly loves his job and provides excellent customer service. Overall really good — happy and proud to be a repeat customer here.

Food: 1 star - awful, had acid reflux for several hours afterwards. Service: 2 stars - OK. Pretty standard. They were busy so minimal interaction. One minus was that they gave us sparkling water without asking our preference. Ordered the 2 items on their special menu. It's their specialty so must be something worth being proud of, right? Sounded nice from the descriptions, but turned out to be plasticy sausage and cold soggy bread for $38. Coffee was OK. Saw some nicer options being served. Apparently we chose wrong! Would benefit from pictures on menu.

I so recommend this place! The food was delicious and decadent, the coffee was amazing. This place is clearly a passion project, and the care given by the staff to the food, drinks and atmosphere really showed. It had a lovely, welcoming vibe. Biggest challenge we had was choosing from all the delectable items on the menu!

Just an outright brilliant little place. Super friendly, amazing coffee few places bother to make an iced filter coffee good but they make it delicious great specials and all round great food. Scrambled eggs were perfect, like just the right amount of buttery and even the soup special and I generally dont much care for soup was brilliant. It's nearly impossible not to get a cheese scone, they are just right and provide the perfect amount of salted butter to go on them. My photo only has half the bottom of a scone because I couldnt help but eat it immediately. A+ would recommend and am looking forward to trying more things.
