I understand that the Lyall Bay location was forced to move, but it honestly is such a shame about the group fitness room at George Bolt Street. At the old space it could comfortably fit 30 plus people and often was at capacity. At this gym the maximum is 15, which is tight. Pretty ridiculous when so many people like me primarily go to classes, becuase they are a great motivator. Because spaces for classes are now at an all time premium, I can barely get in. It would have been nicer if they had considered the numbers from the old space and prioritized this for the new space. So disappointing.
Great commercial gym that acts as my home gym. Well stocked with all the equipment you could need for any workout programme you’re on. Big open plan and spacious. I normally train 4am and it’s very quiet at that time highly recommend if you live around the area. Cons is just the busy times can involve having to wait for certain equipment otherwise highly recommend this gym. Staff are friendly and the other gym goers are too.
Really enjoyed new gym - step up from the last one and awesome to have simplicity next door
The new gym is well setup and has the feeling of a great place to teain. I am a premium member primarily for the yoga and relaxation areas and I was disappointed to learn there is no longer an Abundance Studio at the new Loyal Bay gym. This means fewer options for yoga.
Unfortunately the new gym is tiny and the group fitness studio fitting only 14 people makes it impossible to get into a class. Such a shame as the old gym had such a good layout and lots of space.
