Really lovely dinner out with my sister. Fun, delicious & hands on food! Staff were all super friendly & attentive. Can't wait to take my husband there to try more of the shared plates.
Best coffee in NZ ever! I stayed one night in Mangawhai and came here 2 days in a row! Food is also high quality in both using ingredients and cooking properly especially the vietnamese menu is top-notch. It is a brilliant adaptaion of viet taste in western style. This cafe would be a sole reason to visit Mangawhai.
Small but great selection of food, and our group was lucky and got to try their brand new menu. Great staff, and had excellent coffee recommendations and options. Combination of indoor and outdoor seating, so booking in advance might help for larger groups.
We shared a delicious breakfast with our family of eight , excellent food and service. Would definitely visit again if in the area. One small comment, although not a complaint, the children's menu could perhaps offer some plainer faire, little people are notoriously unadventurous in their eating habits! All in all, a great dining experience- thank you! :
Coffee and their knowledge of coffee is exquisite, they have recently renewed their food menu, which has some great and delicious items, good atmosphere, suitable for larger groups but good to book in advance just in case, but no issues as they managed to accommodate us on short notice
