Absolutely amazing! The food was super super fresh, full of flavour and the menu had great variety. I ordered one of the salads and it was packed full of healthy fresh ingredients but was also fulling. The pork bahn mi roll was very flavourful and fresh too. Great coffee! You wouldn’t suspect such great food from a place that sounds like it only specialises in coffee, but brewed as is a wonderful hidden gem in mangawhai. We ate here a couple of years ago when the menu was more focused on tapas, so it was a pleasant surprise to find out that they’ve now changed towards Asian fusion sharing plates. The seared kingfish was heavenly! The creamy sauce was probably one of the best things we have ever tasted! The venison was a tad overcooked for our liking, we do prefer venison to be medium rare and what we receive was more on the medium side but nonetheless, all dishes were fabulous. I do appreciate that dishes come out as they are prepared but we were just a tad disappointed the greens came out towards the end.
Really lovely dinner out with my sister. Fun, delicious & hands on food! Staff were all super friendly & attentive. Can't wait to take my husband there to try more of the shared plates.

Best coffee in NZ ever! I stayed one night in Mangawhai and came here 2 days in a row! Food is also high quality in both using ingredients and cooking properly especially the vietnamese menu is top-notch. It is a brilliant adaptaion of viet taste in western style. This cafe would be a sole reason to visit Mangawhai.
