Excellent all round. A gem not where you would really expect a gem to be. Food is high quality, maybe a *little* more expensive than expected but not overly. Great service and an intimate relaxed vibe that we really enjoyed. Good vegan options as well as gluten and dairy free.

A great meal and my favorite place to eat out when in Mangawhai. The pork belly was great as was the mozzarella salad.

Ideal family fare for our whanau visiting. 6 Children 4 Adults, menu had dishes for all tastes. Delighted all. Relaxing atmosphere all on a large table! Thanks Dune teamFood: 5/5

Highly recommend. Beautiful place for a girls night, or family dinner. Ambiance is amazing and so are the staff. Food was faultless, which I don’t say often. We had the special seafood tasting plate phenomenal, Asian pork ribs, seared tuna and Margarita pizza.

Could not fault this restaurant, 4 of usxwere dining on a busy Saturday night and were seated in an additional dining area away from the bar. The decor and ambience was the first plus, the meals were a good size and very tasty, but a big gold star to our waiter, I wish I knew your name he was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and even came to say goodnight at the end of his shift. Absolutely top notch night out and would highly recommend

We were greeted with a big smile and friendly service right from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly, polite, knowledgeable and efficient. The best service I have had in a long time. The chicken pasta was great! Highly recommended.

This is about NUMBER 8 which is part of The Dune. Place is gorgeous. First time there. 6 things on menu not available and unfortunately the food we would have ordered, plus cocktail not mixed so couldn't order that. Then one of the dishes arrived without the condiments which they'd run out of and swimming in oil. So disappointed. Won't be back.

Dined yesterday with a group of six for lunch. The waitress was not helpful, and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Only had one of the limited gluten free options available. After I’d already ordered twice & she came back and said no they didn’t have it and she wasn’t even willing to ask the kitchen if they could do anything else. Would not recommend, the food is ridiculously overpriced for what is really just a pub, pretending to be a restaurant. They serve frozen, battered fish, watery aioli and the service is bad. Now we know why it was empty, on a Sunday at lunchtime. Definitely not worth the prices, especially when the food is not fresh!

Well, the nearby beach is insanely beautiful. We did not expect the local beer so creative and pizza so delicious, tired feet and the happy memory of a full bell. Will definitely return.
