Mangawhai Tavern

Stopped in for dinner and a pint, had their impossible burger, and my mate had their steak meal. Both our meals were good, mate said his steak was good and my chips were. great. Service was friendly and meals were bought out fairly quickly.

Very busy well run pub/restaurant.food I had was snapper chips& salad ..fantastic.only one downfall.the pan fried snapper portions,were quite small compared to my battered.nPerhaps pan-fried is more time consuming.. dont know..but a great night..all blacks. Included.nGeorge who was our wait person.was great.well done..

Lovely, warm & friendly service with plenty of options, especially drinks Didn't personally order any food but what we saw coming out looked pretty delicious & decent. Ordered a Lemon, Lime & Bitters and a Cappinchino which was beautiful & well worth it. Would definitely come back on another ride out & recommend to all‼

Forgot to take photos of food but sooooo delicious. I had the Ika Mata raw fish and my husband had the Caesar salad. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Great atmosphere and excellent customer service. We'll be back.
