Over the last few years Sandbar has established itself as Mangawhai Heads own 'Local'. We promise the warmest of welcomes to all, whenever you visit.
Our menu is ever evolving using fresh, locally sourced & produced ingredients whenever possible. Our wine list is proudly all New Zealand wines, with a strong focus on our local producers - Lochiel Estate, Estuary Vineyard & Millars Vineyard. We also serve Atomic's Veloce Coffee (100% fair trade).
Whether you are looking for a quiet afternoon drink soaking up the Northland sun in our courtyard, a coffee and a light bite to eat on the couch by the fireplace, or an A La Carte experience in our cosy 30 seat dining room, we are well equipped to cater to your needs. Just drop in to see us!
