I liked it very much. Very good ribs and chowder. Excellent service. Nice ambiance. Happy Hour 4pm-6pm. Large food menu for dinner starting at 4pm. Large drink menu too with many options for tap and bottle beer, wine, cocktails.
Nice food, great taste. Pure New Zealand style restaurant. Recommend Chinese tourist to try. Order a glass of tap beer. Price is so saving to compare the same dishes in Shanghai. Love it
All around it was fine. Sirloin was acceptable. Cooked properly to temp. Quality was fair. Beef Wellington was also fine. No complaints about either dish, but also nothing to rave about. The garlic butter was fine, but if i had known it was going to be a very cold pad on top I would have choosen a different sauce. Service was friendly and fairly attentive. Cheesecake. This was an odd one. Texture was near perfect. It didnt taste bad. It just didnt have much taste at all. Rare good looking but nearly tasteless cheesecake.
Great steak, we got the fillet with fries and the fillet mignon with massed potatoes. Both done perfectly as rare and medium rare. We also had the mussels but sadly forgot to take a picture of them. They were delish
Menu looked great, plates came out looking nice, tasted disgusting it had no flavour or taste, weird looking beer battered fish, got a rum and coke and a vodka lemonade, couldnt drink it as it tasted disgusting. Unfortunately i dont recommended. Sorry brazz.
As soon as i walked in i was welcomed by a friendly host. The staff were polite and attentive. Service is on point. Had the seafood chowder the seasoning was quite lite but still well above average non the less. I also had the lambshanks for my main, one of the better lambshanks i've had. The glazed carrots that came with it was . Overall it was a great experience and good food. Would give it 12/15
Great service, very cheerful and highlighted the happy hour. Food came out quickly. Fish tasted good, maybe too much batter. Chips looked like they had some spice dusted on top but tasted plain. Overall it was ok but wouldn’t be rushing back.
Green lipped mussels were fantastic in the sauce they made then in. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
While Queenstown is know for being overpriced, was quite prepared for this. $42 for a "250gm" Ribeye and a small side of chips. That's it...no vegetable other than a dusting of crispy onion and a couple stems of.. something. Undercooked ordered rare, got blue with the chew to match. Asked for some aoili for the chips too which didn't arrive. Only saving grace was the chips more of them then the steak and the prompt service though turning up at 5pm on a Monday probably accounts for that Won't be coming back, that's for sure
Took over an hour for us to get our breakfast meals, the table across from us ordered straight after us but got theirs before us, I'm guessing they were short-staffed. The meals were nice though and the staff were friendly and apologetic. Music a little loud which made everyone talk louder which made it noisy. But I would go back again, I just think we went at a bad time.... maybe
