What a great experience to scratch off the bucket list! You get to spend 15 to 20 minutes in a frosty bar where everything including the drink cups are made of ice. They put you in a big woolly coat and you get to choose from a selection of drinks and cocktails. The room is full of amazing ice sculptures that you can look at whilst having a drink.
Loved it there. Team were awesome. Needed to use their jackets they supplied along with the special gloves to grip the ice glasses. Most of the items inside are made of ice and music was great as you're partying hard.
Look I really enjoyed it. The actual ice bar isn't big, they're super understaffed so only expect one cocktail to be served which was fine by me!. Honestly it is what you make it. We took a tonne of photos and went in with an excellent group. You're not locked inside either, you can go in and out to warm up. The jackets were clean and tidy as were the gloves. The cocktails were super yum and it was awesome to be able to drink out of an ice cup.
Okay for the experience but is just like being inside a freezer but with colourful lights. Kinda small and hard to take pictures with a lot of people coming in unless you wait for everyone to go. Cocktails are mid, just your average mix of cheap alcohol and juice, just get one, you’ll be too cold to drink more than one. Staff is very friendly.

Great fun spot! The kids had a fun time. They provide warm coats, gloves. Cool sculptures and tasty drinks! The kids loved it.

This was an interesting experience. There was a messy process of distributing jackets and gloves while the previous group was leaving the bar. We were told that we had an hour in the bar, however had to leave after 20 minutes for the next group. The drinks were mostly just juice with some alcohol that didn’t taste strong or have any effect afterwards. Many drinks were sold out quickly as well and there weren’t many options. There was a Photo Booth which is 1+ and the environment provided great photo opportunities with an ice throne, lots of coloured lights and ice sculptures. Worth going at least once for the experience but not a must do.
This place is amazing and a must do it’s an ice bar where literally everything is ice including the cups and the bartender Chris was amazing made us all have a good laugh in there I had to step in and out a couple times coz of how cold it is avg -12 but overall amazing and good pricing highly recommendVisited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNot sure
We loved our time at the ice bar! Plenty of seating compared to other ice bars in Queenstown which was nice, and even an ice hockey table made of ice which was fun! Plenty of fun photo opportunities and a nice atmosphere. The best part was the staff who were so so friendly and we ended up having a really good chat. Loved the coats they gave us with the fluffy warm hoods!
