Smooth check-in and very friendly staff. Free parking, clean and spacious rooms, but: they smell strongly of cleaning products!nnWe've never experienced anything like it. The entire room is probably sprayed with it.nEven after several hours of airing, we couldn't get rid of the smell. Headaches are guaranteed.nnWe therefore considered changing accommodation, but stayed there due to a lack of alternatives.nnCheck-out rules are also very strict. If you want to check out after 10 a.m., you have to pay NZD 50 per hour. If you need extra towels, you have to pay NZD 5. But apparently, they don't even want to invest NZD 5 in two new towel hooks in the bathroom so that guests can hang something up. Instead, there are just a few loose metal plates hanging there, which will probably fall off soon.nnBreakfast is also very strange. There are only two dishes to choose from, and breakfast is only served until 9 a.m. There are no options for vegetarians. Very unfortunate!nnUnder these circumstances, I would not book this accommodation again.

Firstly the staff was wonderful. Kind and helpful. We had an issue with our door and couldnt use the spa the first nights stay, but when I asked reception she took all reasonable steps to rectify the issue. We did get half an hour use of the tub because of hours, but thats uncontrollable.nThe rooms were tidy and nice. There was 1 pillow with a minor stain, but it wasnt horrid. I was here on business so was unable to make the most of the extra facilities available but overall a nice place. I have stayed at some places and this one was really good. I would stay here again.

Super friendly staff.nRoom was huge and beds and pillows were exceptionally comfy ! I had the best sleep.nClose to all the things we needed.nVery clean.nTotally recommend

Enjoyed our family stay! Wish we'd stayed 2 nights. Pool is small and it was rather crowded so my kids didn't get to swim they're shy and spa pool is on it's last legs, we still filled it up and used it. Other than that, we would stay again.

Really decent hotel, quiet location and good clean rooms.nOur only issue was the bed was a bit too firm for us, but that’s personal preference.nWe would stay here again though
