Art of Food

My partner and I have dined in at Art of Food 3 times in the past 2 weeks and every experience was brilliant. The customer service is amazing, and the staff always make us feel welcome. The atmosphere is very homely and welcoming. The food is always on point, and the presentation is always exceptional. The wait time for the food takes around 20 or so minutes, but the food is definitely worth it and the wait isn't bad especially given the quality and freshness of the food. The drinks are also very refreshing and I highly recommend trying the salted caramel hot chocolate. This place is definitely a spot to visit if you don't know where to eat. My partner and I will definitely be returning here!

The Art of Food restaurant on Main St in Upper Hutt specialize in delicious wood-fired gourmet pizzas, which they serve in a gorgeous and artistically pleasing venue. They also serve desserts and their wood-fired oven Baked New York Cheesecake is to die for. Their service was very friendly and welcoming. My only regret was that I hadn't discovered this place before. I will be back for sure.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a sweltering summer day. I was impressed by the friendly service and generous portions. I chose the corn fritters and a chocolate milkshake as the thickshake looked a bit too daunting. Happy with my choice and left full and satisfied.

Pizza was excellent! There was a little bit of a wait, but definitely worth it! We had the mushroom sauce based pizza, and the one with bearnaise sauce. Both were lovely.

Walked into this place with no plans before him and was surprised by a rather nice and low priced meal. The typical full breakfast was only $18 compared with 24 at most places in Wellington. Ordered an Americano which was a little bitter but the cafe took it back made a new one which was much better.

Not bad! Food They were busy! But would be nice if they acknowledged customers and said they will be with them as soon as they can! Just felt little rude as it made me think about walking out! Small suggestion from customers point of view!

Art of Food was a great lunch spot to visit. The service was slower than we are used to, and we chose to eat outside needing to ask for cutlery and napkins. My wife ordered a pizza, which took a significantly longer time to come to the table vs the other food - we were on the edge of going to ask if it had been forgotten when it was delivered to the table. Food was excellent, staff were super friendly, my only qualm was the service speed and it may have been the day.

Nice food, very helpful staff. There is vegetarian meals on menu, no gluten free meals, but you can add gluten free toast in the 'build a breakfast'. Only two kids options, would be great to expand because the patio and small crawling frame is attractive to families!

This was the first time that we had visited Art of Food for breakfast and unfortunately will be our last. Lovely place but it was so cold inside. Food was nicely cooked but apart from the sausage the rest was also cold. The thing that stuck out the most was the taste of the butter/margarine - I am not sure what it was but it tasted awful. Clean and tidy place with friendly staff. Breakfast for my wife and I was disappointing.
