Gerrys Charcoal Chicken

Very friendly staff. Place was clean. Chicken was moist and chips were crunchy and perfectly cooked. Desserts were amazing especially the banana cake chocolate mousse. Good price for very good dinner.

This place is absolutely amazing! I have never had chicken that has tasted this good in NZ. Well worth the drive to get here. Can't describe how much I enjoyed my meal. Service was phenomenal as well.

Affordable and yummy food and closes late!

To say Gerry's Charcoal Chicken is finger licking good may be cliché but it is so true. I couldn't stop eating it. I had planned to save some for lunch the next day, but nope, it was all gone in a flash. Really yummy! Our servers were lovely, efficient and really cool.

Always a great experience. Food is delicious and customer service is great, they have a friendly face for every customer.

Upper hutt's best kept secret! the chicken is moist and portion sizes are great. The potatoes are to die for, perfectly crispy with a lovely flavour, would go again for sure.

Good value for money, big portions with plenty of veg. I love that this place never changes, it's an iconic Upper Hutt institution.
