I chose this based of previous reviews and was quite DISGUSTED to what i walked into. It just filthy and def not up to standard. BLACK MOULD growing under the shower and laminated flooring, floors and curtains dirty and spotted, toilets not properly cleaned! Parking? What parking, you cant even get your car in there, and if you by some miracle did you would need to hope nobody parks next to you because then you are 100% stuck! I would NOT RECOMMEND! You can get much better value for your $200 elsewhere!
Comfortable and spacious rooms with kind staff. Peaceful in spite of being located in a student area, and conveniently located near the gardens shopping centre. Some distance from the city centre, so driving is recommended, or take the scenic walk through the gardens and university campus to town.
It's cheapish but don't believe the mostly fake 5 star reviews. It's Not a 4 star motel/hotel - it's more of a 2 star motel.nnThe bathroom is the biggest issue.nThe bathroom smells of mold - bathroom looks like it has some moisture tightness or ventilation issues mold specs are visible on the roof.nThe toilet brush in the bathroom wasn't usable. It's attached to the wall and when you attempt to remove the brush it takes the holder with it therefore stuck in brush holder and has a weird overspill design that leaks poo water on the floor.nThere was suspicious coloration on the skirting around the toilet on arrival - looked quite unclean.nThe vinyl flooring looks like it might have water damage underneath it. Water pool shaped darkening under the vinyl.nThe fan didn't work either meaning that while it's not a rental, it's not healthy homes compliant.nnThe carpet looks like it has some minor staining/discoloration barely visible but adds to the impression.nThere are cracks in the paint as well - doesn't look professionally done.nScuffs and superficial damage on most walls.nlooks like it was given 'the landlord special' with edges of windowsills messily painted.nThe place give the impression of a former student flat redone on the cheap.nnThe internet also sucks - it drops in and out frequently.nnNow that I've written this all out.... yeah the place isn't very good. Maybe some of the units are nice?nWish I had paid the extra $20 a night somewhere else.
Stayed 3 nights here. So handy to the cbd, only 6 minutes by car. Large unit with loft bed. Clean and tidy, all that you need. Affordable accommodation. Very helpful and friendly host. Will stay again.
The apartments are beautifully designed, well-equipped, and nicely presented. Just a short walk away we found plenty of takeaway options and a supermarket, making it perfect for both short and longer stays. Mao was incredibly kind and went out of their way to return an item we had accidentally left behind. A truly lovely place with equally lovely people.
