The place serves Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. The food is great and the service excellent. They have nicely decked with Turkish artifacts. They also sell hand made lamps and other merchandises from Turkey.

I guess I qualify as a regular now, as I dine there at least every other week. The food is both excellent, and authentically Turkish with lots of variety. My personal favorite is Black Sea Chicken, the walnut sauce is delicious. Make sure you leave room for desert though. Without a doubt they have the best deserts in Takapuna I know, I've tried them all. The service is top-notch. It's a husband and wife team that run the place, so Orhan chef and Virsen Maitre'D are there almost every night to make sure the food and service is just right. Highly recommend this place.

A nice and cozy place. Great and lots of vegetarian options. The eggplant dish is amazing! A must try! Great food, great ambiance and service!

Delicious meal and genuine friendly service. Do leave space for the baklava, which is simply divine. The menu has an interesting range of dishes, so do be adventurous.

Excelent personal service, the food was great and had plenty of vegiterian options. They also have a lovely shop with Turkish lights, plates and rugs.

if you want good halal food . and friendly staff . this is definitely the place . out of town . a short stroll to the beach.. lovely crowd
