Akaroa Apartment

Wonderful property with an amazing view. This apartment is in a great location above the harbour with a short walk to the very good selection of restaurants. Loved the short path down to the harbour and then walk into the town. The apartment is so perfectly appointed with lovely large rooms and doors that open on to a deck that is perfect for a morning coffee or an evening wine. The view is captivating. A comfortable bed and plenty of storage - which was great as we were able to put our clothes away and a washing machine was a great bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked - my husband especially loved the fresh biscuits and muffins provided by Alison - so thank you. We will most definitely be back - Akaroa has many great walks and restaurants and it is such a lovely town which was made even better by a staying in a lovely bright modern and spacious apartment.

We stayed two nights at the Akaroa Apartment recently and were delighted with the wonderful views, quality finishes, comfy bed and provisions provided at this modern apartment. Alison and Ross are very friendly hosts who made us feel at home and welcome. Akaroa is a lovely town with a great friendly vibe and on our hosts recommendation we dined at Rona's where the meal was exceptional. We also found everything within walking distance of the apartment including the local cinema where current releases were playing in two small intimate theatres. Both Akaroa House B&B and Akaroa Apartment are highly recommended and we would love to return some day.

My family and I booked Akaroa Apartment for 3 nights and it was our home away from home. Alison and Ross were so lovely to deal with and made us feel really welcome. The Apartment is so warm, sunny and modern! so much better than staying in a hotel or motel. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Akaroa, we especially loved having wine and cheese on the balcony so we could soak up the afternoon sun and enjoy the beautiful views that Akaroa has to offer. Modern, Clean, Comfortable and Convenient. It was the perfect place to stay in Akarora. Located on a quiet corner with a truly fantastic view, but still only 5 minutes walk to the center of activity on the waterfront. You will not be disappointed!

It was an absolutely awesome place to stay & we would come again in a heartbeat . It had every creature comfort, with great views , close to town & the owners were extremely friendly & helpful . I would totally recommend it for a stay in Akaroa and we are hopeful of coming back again . Thanks yiu Alison & Ross for your part in a magic stay in Akaroa.

Great apartment with first class facilities that will meet everyone’s needs. Short walk from town and superb elevated views of Akaroa, from the terrace. Great hosts and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Akaroa.

This beautiful historic B&B is situated above the town and harbour. Stunning views from the welcoming living areas and from our room. Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable host who welcomed us into her home. Delicious continental breakfast with home made bread and conserves. Top marks.
