Story

Welcome to the beautiful waterfront apartments, located directly opposite the main wharf in romantic Akaroa.

If you're looking for a retreat then these units are just for you.

Beautifully appointed spacious studio apartments spread over approximately 60m2, positioned for the views, sun and easy location to the many restaurants and cafes that Akaroa has to offer.

These light and airy units each have a large spa bath and shower in the fully tiled bathrooms, situated adjacent to the sleeping area. The beds are all king sized and have luxury comfort toppers.

The living and kitchenette area is a large space with sofas, tv and tea and coffee facilities. More importantly there are two sets of french doors leading out to a private balcony which looks over the main wharf in this beautiful township. This balcony is the perfect spot to spend time soaking up the views, and perhaps some local wine and cheese.

Within a two minute walk there is at least 8 different dining options, right on your doorstep.

These units are also well located, just above the world famous Akaroa Cooking School. Just wander down the stairs for an enjoyable day of learning at this wonderful establishment.

Overpriced for what we received. Usually paying $280 you would receive a free bottle of wine snacks or breakfast. Whilst the room was lovely the package did not compare favourably to other similar priced places we have stayed.Rooms: 5/5
Unfortunately the thickshakes here aren't worth a look in. Not enough flavour or ice-cream. No thickness to them at all. The staff are friendly though. Even after requesting a top up of flavour and ice-cream, still ended up binning it. A real shame.
Great location. Well stocked kitchen. Good sized rooms. Comfy beds. No side lamp in second room but one was found from elsewhere when I asked. Laundry available - 4 dollars each for wash then dry. Iron and ironing board also only in public laundry area.
Lovely spacious rooms in a great location. Let down by a lack of bathroom towel rails and we could only find one tee towel. Minor issues just took the shine off an otherwise lovely unit.Rooms: 4/5
Great bolt hole to get away from Christchurch and unwind. Lovely drive approx 1.20hr from the City but worth stopping at the Café in Little River for a coffee on the way. "Penthouse apartment" at AVI lovely view and well appointed with a huge spa bath. Staff really pleasant and facility although a little dated, clean and spacious with one of the best views possible, all with a huge private balcony. Bed was super comfortable.
Awesome management and staff. Nothing was a problem. We went on a Cruise and when we got back to check into our room our Beers and food were in the fridge of our room all chilled when we returned. Fantastic room and views.
From the moment we walked threw the doors felicity made us feel special..we stayed in room number 11 at the very top of the motel.with views like this we felt like royalty,breathtaking.had so much fun and the sights and fishing were second to none..10 out of ten guys ..we will be back and thanks so much.Dream Holidays.. ,,luv Akaroa..
Awesome suite and views, great hosts. Thoroughly recommend the upgrade and be totally satisfied. Great spa bath and very roomy apartment with balcony views out across the bay. Very handy to restaurants and bars, all in walking distance. The Managers were very friendly and shared local advise on where to dine.
Fantastic location. Just through the carpark to the waterfront. Property manager was very accommodating. Really nice unit. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved staying here. All 6 of us were extremely comfortable and the kids loved the balcony and courtyard in our unit. Perfect for a late afternoon nerf battle. Very friendly management who went above and beyond to accomodate us. Beautiful walks all around and just a short stroll to some fantastic eateries. Highly recommended
