Air New Zealand Nelson Airport Regional Lounge

It's a beautifully designed small airport. Listing gates is a bit silly. On departure you just walk out to the plane that's in front of the terminal. There is a direct flight to Auckland which is handy for international travellers or any of course. Air New Zealand dominates of course.nTruly an excellent airport.

Always lovely staff in the Koru lounge. Great views and comfortable seating options in various arrangements, for work or relaxation. Note to Vegetarians or dairy free, eat before you get up here. The vegetarian mains are always lacking if there are any apart from white rice. Meat, dairy and gluten containing dishes are well catered for.

The lounge in the revamped airport is very nice, usually has pleasant reception staff and the usual Air NZ fair, goods drinks options and if many food offerings are unexciting there's always the cheese and biscuits. Great view outside.

Hidden just behind the Air New Zealand checkin area on the first floor it’s really nice and cosy, tiny regional lounge, but still very comfortable and much better compared to e.g. Christchurch one. Plenty of seats both for work and relax. Very friendly staff. Food is quite limited and not much to choose from, especially lacking vegetarian or vegan options. No barista coffee either so you have a choice of getting free rubbish American coffee or go downstairs to Sublime or other cafes.nFast free internet is always good.

Modern new construction,light, bright atmosphere and friendly staff. Could use a few more retail outlets, but what is there, is good for a smaller airport. Easy access to town with buses every half hour.
