100% Reef Safe

Previously had 100% Reef Safe rated at 5 stars. After a recent and appalling display of customer service I feel the need to change this review. We have always bought what we can afford from this store and have always appreciated any advice given, but a warning to all- don't buy gear elsewhere as you will be yelled at and humiliated publicly in front of others. We simply couldn't afford the equipment recommended outright and decided to buy elsewhere that offers AfterPay, however, we were more than happy to continue to buy the other requirements for this equipment through 100% Reef Safe and anything else we may require for our marine tank. Again, we have appreciated everything in the past, but after this recent display- I highly doubt we will be back again... which really is disappointing as we did enjoy our visits. At times, I really have to agree with what Jaye Perry and Jeffrey Marquez said in there reviews. As regulars (whether buying or just browsing) I have unfortunately seen this. How you are greeted and treated really seems to be determined by the owners mood. I will be honest, there were times we had had a change of mind about stock we had purchased and they were always happy to accept and we could use as a credit in-store. Apparently, all of a sudden, they felt the need to bring this up as a problem we were unaware was an issue. I feel that a simple- "Sorry, unfortunately we are unable to accept this return" would be sufficient, not a public verbal bashing. We did give the owners an opportunity to apologise, however, apparently pride stands in the way, and as a result... I have decided to post this review.

Really good selection and variety. Prices not bad either!

Good shop, staff r helpfull and know what they r talking about, decent prices and healthy fish and coral

Such fantastic service from the team at 100% Reef Safe. Always patient and always providing good advice that is customer focused and not sales oriented.

I don't go anywhere else. Water, livestock, corals, equipment and friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff.
