Zoodoo Zoo is a wildlife park about from Richmond, Tasmania in Australia. It is spread over.Originally an ostrich farm and miniature pony stud, Zoodoo first opened to the public on 2 July 1999 with just a few native animals. Visited on Saturday with family. Had not been since our kids were little. We had a fantastic time. Staff were great & prices were very reasonable. We loved the ride through the park & many opportunities to interact with the animals. I might add with no extra cost. Well done everyone on providing us with such a memorable experience! Highly recommend to others to visit!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Took my husband and 2 3yo boys today and we had an excellent time !! Great value for money and great variety of animals. We loved the bus ride , and all the animals we were able to interact with and feed. Out of the 3 zoos we have been to this was by far the best!! We went to another zoo and paid the same price but there wasn’t half the amount that was at Zoodoo. Thanks guys for a great experience !!

I’m not quite sure why/how this has so many great reviews. I was fairly disappointed in the facilities and staff. I thought that it would be more “safari” style and the animals had more room to roam. As cool as it is to be able to feed lions up close and personal I’m not sure how much the lions like it? The monkeys had fake plants in their cages. Also, they talked about how they put two lizard together to mate, one of them got injured and they realized they were both males? Seems pretty unprofessional. The staff all seems really young and not very knowledgeable. I just felt bad leaving. And wished I would have gone to the sanctuary just a couple of miles away instead.

Excellent experience. Went with my 2 kids who are under 10. They enjoyed the safari ride with the extreme close up encounters with the emus, zebras and camels. The camels were especially friendly and basically came inside the vehicle for the ultimate close-up. The free-range nature of the animal enclosures allows an easy, laidback way of interacting with the animals. And most allow you to get really up close and pet the animals. Would come back if I'm ever in Tas again. Price is also very reasonable.

Such amazing awesome friendly staff. The zoo was amazing and I was happy that all the animals had such big enclosures. The only thing I would suggest is that they bring in another guinea pig friend for the current guinea pig that lives with a rabbit as guinea pigs love the company of their own and as rabbits can harm guinea pigs with jumping and kicking. Otherwise it was such a great experience a must do! Get to feed lions and emus camels and donkeys as part of the entry fee!! Loved it👍👍
