Penny Royal Adventures

About

Penny Royal Adventures is home to a range of adventures for young and old.

Story

The Penny Royal offers a rich experience steeped in convict history dating back to Van Diemen's Land in 1825. Board the Dark Ride or the Brigg Tamar and immerse yourself in the escapades of infamous local bushranger Mathew Brady, scamper along the cliff walk, experience the quick jump, zip across the site, climb the cliffs and mine for gemstones and gold. Beware the authentic 24 pound cannon fire! After an action packed day, sit back, relax, and enjoy the picturesque replica 1825 stone buildings overlooking the lagoon as you indulge in great local food, fine Tasmanian wines and craft.

The zip line was amazing - so much fun. The guys were great, really friendly and helpful. Just don't eat there - the food is over priced and completely tasteless, dry and overcooked. Bad service in the restaurant to.

Very family orientated with so much to see and do. To much to mention but a must visit whether on your own or with family.

Something for everyone. There is a restaurant, cafe, beer house, wine bar and even an ice creamery. All of these are situated around and overlook a lagoon, intertwined with all the eateries are rides and other entertainment, including cliff jump, zip ride, climbing walls, cliff walk, playground and the Dark Side Ride. We were only spectators, but it certainly looked like fun. I can recommend the blackberry and raspberry ice cream in a cone from the Ice Creamery.

Fantastic place for history, entertainment and food. it's free entry and you pay for what you would like to do once inside, cliff walk, Dark ride, remote control boats, rock climbing, flying fox or just a bite to eat, the staff and entertainment have to have an income when all said and done. The food is delicious and staff friendly and courteous. Go and experience some launi fun.
