Zambrero is Mexican with a Mission. A healthy Mexican restaurant and humanitarian enterprise committed to tackling world hunger. Since being formed in 2005 by Dr. Sam Prince, millions of meals have been provided to those living in poverty around the world through Zambrero's Plate 4 Plate initiative.

Normally zambreros is a good experience overall but the staff at this branch weren’t very friendly at all… I placed my order and asked a question surrounding dietary concerns then was snickered at and just felt like it was a dumb question to ask. Strange to feel that way at a franchise after working in hospitality myself for years. The supervisor was very mature and made things a bit better, however a young girl literally laughing at me then not responding and serving someone else instead was super unprofessional.
I always love this place when I come with my friends but the girl working last night made a suggestion on my nachos that made them 1000% better. Love an awesome customer service experience. :
bloke with the long hair who wears the zam hat and mask is absolutely rubbish at making burritos and needs to be taught again. 3rd time i’ve had him make my feed and he never fails to disappoint - shy on all the ingredients and can’t wrap the thing to save his life. bloke can’t even reach down to refill the corn half the time and would rather scoop out the 3 bits of corn left in the bowl and expect me to be satisfied with that. i will be asking the short girl with the pearl necklace every time now to make my burrito as she actually knows what she’s doing. not on mate
You might be too naive to believe what your supervisor said. We regularly visit zambrero both robina & nerang and would never be upset if it was not a big deal. My daughter just loves it and I had to tell her this is the end of your zambrero...you can just imagine the height of my frustration. It was like talking to someone for whom you donot matter. There was a another girl who couldnt stop laughing behind the scenes. "We are closed now, could you make your way out" were her exact words. The girl on the till did tell me to bring the rubbish to the counter when i had finished paying for my meal On asking her again and showing my discontent, she said thats the rule in every outlet as insurance doesnt allow them to have us on premises after 9. Which business insurance says that... i have 3 public liabilities...never heard of such a clause I would request you to check the cameras and see me showing my unhappiness with all due respect If what we understood was wrong they would have corrected us and asked to finish. On asking how can anybody be asked to get up in between their meal and leave, another lady said you can finish your meal outside... if that was the case they should have asked us to sit outside in the first place. Even I have businesses and know the repercussions of having bad reviews... some we take and some we dont. It is upto you as an owner to take it or leave it. But I was absolutely frustrated with what happened today. I did tell the girls I am sorry but I shall leave a review on this...unfortunately they didnot take any efforts to console me. The worst experience ever in the history of my dine in anywhere in Australia. We were taken in and served the food for dine in and as soon as it was 9pm, the lady tells us "we are closed now...could you make your way out". Worst thing for anybody to hear in the middle of their dinner with 2 small kids. The staff seems to say thats what they have been advised...then why let anyone sit if they know they are closing soon. Donot take dine in 30 mins before closing. Had to sit in the car and finish off.
Great food and lovely staff members, located at Robina Town Centre. We had the Burrito Bowl, Nachos and Great Burrito and all of them were amazing.
My go to Mexican that doesn’t make me feel guilty eating it. The bowls are so yum and healthy!
I always come here and the service and food are both amazing, I just got takeaway and I an now eating my burrito and the staff member has put the wrong meat on my butrito, not happy at all because this is not what I requested
We had a fantastic meal. Staff were friendly & our burritos were delicious. We'll be back again for sure

Fantastic food, generous servings, polite staff and very clean facilities. This was the best zambrero experience.
