it was a very worst experience at Z gas station on Vivian Street. I mean I went there for gas and my card was expired. So, The Cashier called Akash was working there and he gave me 20$ Credits. Then, I could go further for gas and the day after I gave their money back with a receipt. But, today I went for gas again and the cashier was a different guy working and says that you are outstanding on your car plate.behave Strangely and ask me for the last transaction again. Even Though I paid for it and try to show my last receipt but he was not listening. I don't know even if they are not coordinating with their staff or whatever. For me, it was so embarrassing movement. They are not treating a good way with their customer.
A genuine warm reception when I went to pay for the fuel I put into our car. Not sure why 91 is $2.04 per litre whilst yesterday in Hamilton my friend paid $1.87 per litre for the same product.....
EV charging located in a Z- station, on the side. Three stars as it is slow - 14kW to maximum 21kW. Supposed to be 50! P.S of the two chargers, the older one, with the thicker leads is faster - around 39kW. Slow yet faster than other…..go figure!
Very friendly staff when I've come in here. Price of fuel is not the cheapest buy that's most Z stations for you. Handy location. Pies are getting a little better these days too.
The electric car charging points have been ripped out in preparation for some new ones but that won't be completed until possibly September 2002
Had some issues with the credit card and the employees were kind and understandable, helped me figure out a way to fix it.
It's a service station, but is clean and tidy. The usual hot and cold condiments are available. You can refuel your favorite vehicle there, as well as there being electric vehicle changing stations.
I rolled in with a flat tyre, so needed to pump it up. The attendant was friendly and came to check when I couldn't get their air pump to work. They went to ask the manager, but without coming to actually look at it the manager said there was nothing wrong with it. I eventually worked it out myself, but for a company that widely advertises a higher level of service than other stations, they didn't inspire me to come back and spend my money with them. Had to change the tyre, so it was good they had some undercover space away from the pumps to keep me out of the rain.
Depends when you go. Most of the staff are good, tend to go out the back and stay there late at night which is a pain and certain staff lock the toilet at night which is a pain for all the night customers. But a pretty good Z
This is where I usually fill up since it's on the way home, so I wasn't expecting anything eventful when I visited this morning expecting to get $20 worth of 91 and top up my tyres. Instead, the pump I chose to scan my card at accepted my debit card, but not my Fly Buys card, which is required to get 10c off per litre. Frustrated that it would neither scan the barcode nor read the magnetic strip, I pressed 'Cancel Transaction' and moved my car to the adjacent pump, where I tried again to fuel up. This time, my card was immediately declined. I checked my bank balance and saw that every remaining cent in my account was gone. Obviously the machine had put a hold on my card even though I had not lifted the pump. The store staff then demanded I come in, where they accosted me with an accusatory tone and showed me that my number plate was flagged. I asked why this might be, since I've never stolen petrol in my life and had filled up several times at this exact station. They could not provide any answers but insisted that my card had not been charged and that I should just pre-pay. I told them that my bank balance was zero and that without any fuel in my tank, I couldn't make it home. At this point, one of the men behind the counter threatened to call the police. I told him that I would welcome police help since my account had been charged and I had been accused of misconduct with no basis, and I was now stuck there. My bank balance was returned to me after a period of time, which I did not know to expect, but considering every Z uses this system, I imagine this happens a LOT since the card readers are unreliable at times and the staff were not at all trained to handle the situation, simply repeating the same phrases in increasingly frantic tones. If I had been simply told to wait for 20 minutes and check my balance again, I would have accepted the inconvenience. Instead, I went to a different service station.
