Price is pretty average, comparable to other chinese take aways. Flavours were rather bland. Especially the special fried rice. Honey chicken was soggy and the sauce came in a separate container which wasn't that nice. The meat was extremely dry and chewy Lamb, beef and pork The size of containers used as a large would be what other take aways use as a small. And they still managed to half fill them. Wont be back again.
WARNING!!!!! If you have food allergies DO NOT ORDER from Yongs! A family member has anaphylaxis to prawn and other crustaceans. He is extremely cautious when it comes to ordering takeaway where there is a risk of contamination. Tonight he ordered from Yongs and explained that he suffers allergies to prawns and stipulated very clearly that there was to be NO prawns in the fried rice. When his meal was presented the fried rice was full of prawns. The container lid had "No prawns" clearly written! Furious I phoned Yongs. The staff member who took my call passed me to a lady. I explained the situation and she dismissed me saying it wasn't their fault that the meal was contaminated. There was no apology or offer to remake the meal. I was hung up on. This business has NO regard for food safety practices or allergy awareness. Exercise extreme caution if you have food allergies and choose to purchase from this business.
Great authentic Chinese take away. Not many authentic Chinese food places left anymore. Great to see we still have a local. Not much to look at shop wise but the food and service more than makes up for it. AND the vegetables aren’t frozen they are cut and cooked FRESH not like a lot of other takeaways around.
Even 1 Star is one too many! Ordered 2 kababs, 1 large chicken and 1 large doner. Just basic lettuce, onions and tomato with garlic sauce. Don’t know what happened to the taste, there wasn’t any, even pulled out some pieces of meat to eat on their own, but absolutely no taste to it. The last quarter of it was so soggy, beyond possible to eat. It was a first for this outlet, but a second time, NO! TOO BAD EXPERIENCE TO COME BACK, BE WARNED!!!
Worst Chinese food I have ever had. First and last time. $60.00 down the drain. NO FLAVOUR WHAT SO EVER. Pick another chinses restaurant guys any other restaurant they did not taste any of it before dishing it out. The flavour I could taste was fish ....... I didnt order any fish... leave it at that.
Love Yongs Asian Takeaway! Food is so tasty, reasonable prices, great customer service and delivery was quick. Will continue to keep Yongs as my go to Chinese takeaway place.
Tried them a few times, both myself and those I've eaten with have gotten the runs after eating from them. Very average flavours and expensive menu. I'm suprised this place is still operating.
There fried Rice is not up to the quality of noodle box but for the price it's okay but other than that nice family run business
When we walked in there was constant giggling, joking and carrying on between the young staff while we tried to order.. after issues with getting our order right, the wait was ok, but when I returned to pick up our food, when asked if the order was mine, I said "yeah" and I heard the immature girls saying "yeah" out the back mocking me.. there was a new junior girl working and she was more mature than the rest of them, apologising on their behalf.. that shows you how unprofessional the place was.. Oh and to top it off I didn't like the rice haha, bit of a waste of time..
this chick who makes the fried rice, cooks it so bad i wanted to throw myself under the bus, there was hair in my rice and i knew it was hers because it was black and curly. WORST THING EVER MIGHT NEED A NEW FREID RICE CHEF!!!!!!!!
