Visited on a Saturday for a vegan buffet feast. There were about a dozen dishes to try, the simplest being fresh salad and the injeera beautiful sour bread made from teff. Great plant based dishes with a whole mew palette of spice combinations featuring vegetables and pulses and thick gravy like sauces. All washed down with some strong coffee served in an authentic pot. Im not going to give dish names because you can visit and try for yourself and you will be made very welcome by the staff team. Delicious food and cultural experience.
Very disappointing. Long wait for supposed “fresh food” being made from scratch. As me and my partner didn’t see the ‘to shares’ we ordered 3 mains, all 22 each… . Was expecting to have a new experience and try some good flavours and food. But once it finally arrived after an hour. The portions were tiny, the raw beef was insanely spicy , and I had 4-5 pieces of meat in mine with mostly bread. So I was basically fed flavoured bred for 22 dollars… it felt like scam with the portions and price. The meals around us looked fine, a shame the mains were so horrible. if the food we ordered takes longer then the others or isn’t as nice. Being informed of the ‘to shares’ would of been nice or it being more bold on the menu?
Excellent food. Very interesting to my Northern European palette! Beautiful, unknown flavours. I highly recommend a trip. The share plates are great!
Definitely a hidden gem. Had my lunch here on this Thursday arvo. It’s around 1pm. A typical Queensland sunny arvo in winter. Warm and quiet. There were only a young mom and her three lovely little kids having their lunch.nnOrdered a Lega Tibs and a pot of Buna coffee. Since the lamb was out, I ordered the beef Lega Tibs. The dish was served with four Injera, the classic national food of Ethiopia. The Injera is very soft, similar to pancake, really tasty in spite of slightly sour of flour fermentation. It’s absolutely delicious to have it with the tasty beef lega tibs. Just beautiful! Four Injera were obviously not enough for me, so I asked the owner to add two more of it. LOLnnThe Buna coffee was authentic. I finished the whole pot. Love it! By the way, I love their paintings and the Jazz as background music as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and warm, it feels like home. The owner, and probably the chef too, is very friendly, just like my other Ethiopian friends. I reckon I will come back quite often. I'm going to try their lamb next time. Just can’t wait. LOL

Great balance of flavours, everything cooked perfectly and everything was incredibly fresh.nI cannot wait to go back
