"The Yarra Valley Railway is a not-for-profit, community based, volunteer-run organisation, operating a tourist heritage train from Healesville Station. Train rides on the heritage Walker Railmotor depart Healesville Station hourly from 10am to 4pm every Sunday, Public Holiday and Wednesday during School Holidays. The Railmotor travels through the beautiful Yarra Valley to Tunnel Hill near Tarrawarra before returning to Healesville Station.The Yarra Valley Railway is actively restoring the rail corridor to Yarra Glen."

We came 5 minutes late and the staffs waited for us, during the trip they explain the history and geography of the landscape nearby. This is a volunteer organisation so remember to donate a gift to keep this going every one. People here loved their work and our family feels the passion, thank you everyone.
Had the train ride to the tunnel and back. Good small ride especially for kids.
It’s a nice experience. Staff is very kind and helpful!
The volunteers are lovely and informative. The ride isn't long and the route isn't too scenic but it's a nice experience and I enjoyed it and am happy to support and keep the railway open.
Beautifully restored engine taking you through Healesville. Journey is less than 1 hour, with lovely views. Children enjoyed it. Ran by local volunteers. Recommend for an activity on a cold day. Check timetable to see when running.
