Yang Yang Asian Grocery

Read before you shop here ! Seems as if the owner is running a scam by selling certain items at double/triple the price , you would only find it out when you are at the check out ,as some prices are not displayed at the shelves. We bought 2 x frozen pork and prawn wontons(120gms) which sell for $4.99 at other grocery stores , here it sells for a ridiculous price of $9.99 , how can that be reasonable?? On top of that the price for this item wasn't displayed (of course- then how will they scam you ! ) Luckily my partner was paying attention at the check out , that saved us from getting ripped off by these thugs. I had read horror stories about the same store on a Chinese forum and now i have experienced it first hand. Its a shame Yang Yang , you will lose your business due to your greed.

Terrible experience with the staff there, they are so rude. Cheap stuff but you also get low and practically NO service. Will not visit there anymore. I rather pay more at other store. It seems like they forgotten there are in Australia.

Really terrible experience when you just want to find something special. I understand 'cheap is cheap', but it does not means that terrible customer service is acceptable. Maybe it's working 10 years ago but not right now anymore. Terrible experience overall

a few times I've shopped there, I've had to verify how much something is. You need to watch the staff to scan your items and look at the receipt carefully. I've noticed it's the same staff who won't scan your item but scan a similar item instead. Then when the price is higher than what it normally is and when questioned they will mumble something at you that you don't understand. It is a shame because they have lots of variety. I don't know if all staff are the same or just that one person. Maybe they're stealing from the owners but who would do it for a few dollars ?? It's very fishy because it has happened more than once. I guess I can't shop there anymore.

yeah AVOID. Been there before and will not go back. Just rude and generally unfriendly staff.
