We’ve always been doing our grocery shopping here for decades.
The old lady who is working in the checkout today is really impolite. She was asking to check the products in our trolley which is reasonable. But we purchased them on the Asian market without asking for receipt. After we explained to her, she rolled her eyes and ignored us. I can understand the bag check policy but it should go in a polite way and NOT assuming all customers are thefts in advance. The worst shopping experience ever in Woolies. Wouldn’t come to this shop again.
I bought a 5kg flour and the paper bag leaked just after I scanned it at the self checkout. I notified the staff to see if I could get a new one. She was like “it is not our fault” and asked me to tape the packaging and put in a plastic bag… yes it was my fault, I should have put it back and grab a new one. Why should I care if the flour spreads everywhere, care about myself.
A diverse range of products and decent prices and quality service
Tonight I went to redeem a limited edition $2 coin and when I took the $2 to redeem it the counter staff said I had to buy something to redeem it, so I went and bought something and after paid out they said I had to pay cash to redeem it. I bought everything and I couldn't redeem it. This is a scam, I bought everything and couldn't redeem the limited edition 2 dollar coin. You guys need to train your employees better, shame on you!
