We stayed here for the weekend. Lots of nicely mowed grassed areas to camp. Hot showers in new, clean amenities block with flush toilets, lots of room on sites with plenty of water taps around. Grant is very cruisy to talk with & at $10 per adult & kids over 5 $5 per night you can't ask for more. Grandkids didn't want to leave! We all had a fun weekend, thanks Grant & family.
What a find. Top location, away from the hustle and bustle of Robe in the holiday season but close enough to pop in when you want Clean facilities, never ran out of toilet paper even in New Years Eve! Friendly staff - happy days :
Absolutely fantastic campgrounds! Will definitely reccomend and return so peaceful and relaxing. Right on the edge of the beach with a convenient sand dune and hedge of plants creating the perfect wind block. Multiple, convenient access points to the beach which is absolutely stunning and was very calm the night we visited making for perfect sun set watching and swimming Super friendly staff and very clean amenities including hot showers and place to prepare caught fish Best of all....Dog friendly And when you are not on the beach, the other side of the campgrounds are a stunning view of farming fields and rolling hills
In peak season there is a constant kew for showers and toilets. No extractor fans in these facilities is a smelly experience even when having a shower. Seafront camping is very dusty as you are next to a dirt road.
This place is amazing. Very large, clean, grassy camp sites on the beach. Toilets are clean and modern with power and unpowered sites. Friendly staff, dog friendly, beach acces to drive on, fishing boat launch area off the beach. $2 for a 3min hot shower. Definitely be back.
Would be much better if the wind was not blowing.quiet, plenty of room, pick your own site. Clean toilet and shower.. Grass sites well watered. meters from beach. Four star due to couple of k unsealed road. Would I go back ? Yes
The boys and I had a ripper time here. Grant was super cruisey to deal with. Cost us $10 a night which was am incredible deal. Was about 15 minutes outside of the Robe city centre. The campsite had toilets which flushed and sinks, looked like they were in the process of building showers. The beach was right by the campsite and was a nice place to walk. Highly recommend and if we ever come back to Robe we'll be back here for sure.
I’m going to share why this review is missing two stars. It is for two reasons only. Hence two stars short of five. 1- I don’t think you can really comprehend just how dangerous it is to go sky diving here. Far too windy….. 2- there are 4 toilets 2 showers to cater for a population of HUNDREDS I ate tacos one night with the special narcho cheese sauce. With living life so closely on the edge I would expect there to be enough toilets to suit my lifestyle of fast and loose. Well this place did not. So after counting every single person that enters your establishment and the amount of people lining up for a shower which we are charged $2 DOLLARS FOR TWO MINUTES OF HOT WATER. According to my calculations you can afford another two ammenities blocks to accomodate and still have profit. I recommend that is done asap
Very nice campground, plenty of spots to camp in, very clean toilets and showers, $2 coin needed for hot shower. Grounds very neat and tidy and lawns are kept short and green. Water is provided. Pet friendly. We stayed a week and enjoyed every day exploring.
Great little spot for a relaxing getaway. Walk out on the reefs, throw in a rod or stroll along the beach.
