Fantastic Park! We stayed in a cabin - lovely setup overlooking the waterpark and grassed area. Facilities are brilliant, and staff are lovely. Love this part of SA and highly recommend checking out this park as a place to stay. Great for kids. There are upgrades happening throughout the park, but that didn't impact our stay. Look forward to seeing what it's like next time we get there.
This was my first caravan park I’ve ever been too, so I can’t really compare, but I must say that it was a fantastic place for my caravans debut. The owners were super friendly and the van sites were large, drive through and green and level. The amenities were good albeit a little dated but I bight recommend this park. Very reasonable rates too at $37 a night.
My two children and I stayed in a deluxe cabin for three nights. The cabin was clean, modern, well thought out and felt homely! Large deck out the front with views of the water park, large grasses area, jumping pillow and volleyball/Badminton court. Inside has reverse cycle heating/cooling in both rooms and living area, Double blinds for privacy and night time block out. The shower was large which was great for my daughter and I to shower together which is something we are unable to do at other holiday parks. We loved the dishwasher too! The park itself was well kept with lush green grass not just at family areas but on camp sites also which were large areas. Very clean grounds and amenities! The cabin and park exceeded our expectations and we will be back for sure. Thank you for having us!!
What a lovely Caravan and Cabin Park . A home away from Home feel! Beautiful cabins , very spacious and well appointed! Lovely entertainment areas! 2 Pools, BBQ areas. Camp kitchen , the list goes on and on! I highly recommend this Discovery park as a terrific place to stay !
Had a very enjoyable experience with the kids. We went midweek so it wasn't overly packed and the kids had an absolute blast playing on all the equipment that was available. There wasn't anything for the kids to do during the week, and it seems like the park reserves most extra activities for school holidays. I feel like they could run at least some small programs here and there through the week if there's enough interest on the day target than not doing it at all. We will definitely be back during the school holidays.
Great new built facilities with terrific camp kitchen with TV and tables under cover. Excellent pool and waterpark. Landscaping and paving in new section very good. Wide roads for manoeuvring caravans. New section well grassed though drainage issues meant some weren't able to stand up to vehicle movement, cutting up site. Stayed in old area - more secluded and sites less prone to surface water . Overall a great park.
Beautiful park, very family oriented. They are working really hard at making it a great park, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The kids club is amazing, my girls loved every minute of their activities, it kept them busy whilst mum & dad could relax. Thankyou Goolwa Discovery for a wonderful stay.Rooms: 5/5
Great facilities,clean accommodation, comfortable beds and good family fun atmosphere. Loved pool and splash park and cabins circled play area. Location great in Goolwa and quiet. Will definitely stay again
We had a week here we stayed in a access cabin it was wonderful given we are in our 50's and 70s how ever I suggest you make it a non slip bathroom as after having a shower it can be Quite slippery in the bathroom after shower including the seat it too was slippery in the shower other wise the whole general layout of the cabin was just perfectly layed out and well thought of! Thank you and we will be back in February or march to use your pool
Stayed 6 days with family and Grand kids. We unfortunately had average weather for 4 days but that didn't deter the Grandies. Facilities are great . Staff are very friendly and helpful. Sites are a good size what we stayed on. Will be back.
