Great spot for groups to camp, plenty of shelter with wood stove, fire and tables. Some minimal solar lighting on a 1hr timer. Spectacular early morning views, great black to hike or bike. Only downside is it's close enough to a main road that trafic can be heard
Good camp site which can be hired at the ForestrySA website, with a drop toilet out the back.
Secluded campsite suitable for up to around 10 families with camper trailers, more room for tents. Shelter shed with tables and chairs in good condition. Rain water tank and drop toilet adequate. Roads a little rocky but ok for bike riding. The forest across the road was well used by the children in our group for fort building and the like.
It's in Cromer forest, so it lives up to that half of its name. As far as a shed, this is more of your large workshop type of shed, but for sleeping and shelter, exceeding this part of its name. This is the 5-star rating type of shed.
