Really good campground. Loved the scenery.
Beautiful spot to come camping! The pine forests are beautiful to walk through, fire pits are available, there are toilets and sheltered areas to use. There is loads of space, so even when it's busy, there's always somewhere to set up camp. There are also heaps of tracks to go for a nice walk!
Extremely peaceful here. At the moment we are the first campers since the reopening. The new eco toilets are much better than the old single drop one. 3 toilets & 1 sink & wheelchair accessible. 28 fairly well defined camp areas with fire pots. We are amazed that all the roads are closed for vehicles :
Clean grounds, daily ranger visits. Spacious campsites. We had a wonderful time wandering through the forest seeing all the wildlife from snakes to kangaroos and a huge variety of different mushrooms didn't touch any just in case 10/10 we will be returning again with kids of human and canine variety.
Nice little camping spot, in a native vegetation area which is surrounded by pine plantation. Camping is only allowed for 8 months 1st April to 30th November of the year due the fire ban restriction. With Camp fires allowed for only 6 moths of the year 1st May to 31st October for the same reason and are only permitted in the designated fire pits. The camp sites are booked online and fill up fast, especially on long weekends. I would suggest booking your site before you come, for more information checkout ForestrySA website. There are toilets at the camp site, but I would recommend that you bring your own toilet paper because if it is busy the supplied one, runs out fast and cleaning is only done once a week so don’t get caught out with your pants down. Fire wood for the camp fires can be collected from the ground with in the pine plantations do not cut trees down, or you could receive a big fine but is normally wet in the winter so if you can bring your own from home. Last but not least HAVE FUN CAMPING
Great camp area. Need more toilets as 2 are close together but need one on the other side
It is very relaxing and calm place. Good for family group camping as it is close to city as well as they have basic facilities such as toilet and water tab. Not too windy when you stay one night due to surrouned forest
A great place to relax, refresh and rejuvenate. Great camping spot.
