The Coorong is a beautiful part of South Australia. Ranges from fishing to boarding to surfing to exploring. This place has it all. Its pristine and tidy so please keep it that way. It will be a gem to enjoy for countless years.

We camped at the wreaks crossing campground. Nice flat well protected spots. The are only 6 spots at the wreaks total so make sure you book in busy periods. You don't need a 4x4 to access the camp grounds, but if you have one there's lots of beach driving to be done.

Take a boat trip along the Coorong, see hundreds of birds; walk over the dunes to the wild beach. See old shacks along the shore. A stunning area.

Great wilderness and maybe the best place in the world to see Pelican nurseries. If you travel from Adelaide to Melbourne, it is really worthy to stop at the Coorong National Park. The electronic booking system has made it difficult for travellers to a suitable site.

Really good park the drive into the park is great you get a good feel of how big the park is and can accordingly choose a trail, the lake was dried up but still really beautiful you can see the dried up salt. The trails are really fun to walk through you can see a lot of the park and its wildlife.
